How it works
A member opens their edit profile dialog, clicks the upload music button and picks an audio file. The file uploads with a progress bar, and a checkmark confirms when it is done. From then on, anyone who opens that member's profile hears the clip.
What you control
Turn it on or off
A single toggle in the media section of the control panel turns profile music on for the whole room.
Duration limit
Set the maximum clip length in seconds, up to five minutes. There is also an unlimited option if you want to let members upload full songs.
Who can upload
A permission toggle on each rank decides which members can upload profile music. Default it to VIP and above, or open it to everyone.
Visible or hidden player
Members can choose to hide the player. The music still plays when their profile opens, but no player controls are shown. It stops when the profile closes.
The profile player
When a profile opens with music, a small custom audio player appears in the profile card. It has a play pause button, a progress bar and a volume control. The player matches the room theme, so it looks like it belongs. If the member chose to hide it, the audio plays silently in the background and stops when the profile dialog closes.
File handling
Uploads accept common audio formats. The duration limit is checked before the upload starts, so a member never wastes time uploading a file that will be rejected. The upload progress bar shows real progress, and a green checkmark confirms success.
